When I think of many of our inner-city girls, the Hope Diamond comes to mind. That preciouse gem was once buried in dirt. To be truly beautiful, and to present to the world, this gem had to be cut, polished ans set in the right light. In it's original state it was just as worthy, however, the gems' full potential was not know n until someone recognized it, and was patient and willing enough to develop it to its full brilliance and potential.
We see every young lady as a precious gem, each with her own special talents, gifts and intricate self worth. The International Finishing School for Girls' mission is to help strengthen and foster cultural enrichment in our young ladies.
We feel a deep sense of responsibility and obligation to our young children, to fine tune them as precious gems. We propose to expose them to those things that will stir up their gifts and then we will encourage them to use those talents and gifts to fulfill their purpose and destiny.
